Editing process of music video

The editing process of the thriller was done by Simon Akinwunmi, a member of our group for the music video, so far he has been trying to match what we have filed to the music so the  lip synching is on time and looks as if the character is singing the actual song.. In order to make a successful music video, Simon would have to edit to the beat. to catch it right on the base guitar, we selected the Song on final cut and locked the clips. Then he played the audio clip and pressed the key, command + (M) every time you hear the base guitar then would move my clips into position. This was effective because he then edited to the beat which made everything mash/come together.
